Position Statement 

I believe I would be an excellent fit for the position of National Director, Prairie Region at the Credit Institute of Canada due to my extensive experience, proven leadership, and active involvement in the credit community.

With over two decades in credit risk management, I have developed a deep understanding of credit policies, risk mitigation, and financial analysis. In my current role as Director of Credit Risk Management at Compugen Inc., I have successfully handled complex credit functions and ensured financial stability.

Throughout my career, I have demonstrated strong leadership skills. I have managed credit and collection functions, built effective teams, and fostered collaboration with sales teams. My leadership style is both proactive and collaborative, which has earned me the trust of my colleagues and industry peers.

I am also actively involved in the credit community. As the Vice President of the Manitoba Chapter of the Credit Institute of Canada, I regularly contribute through insightful articles on LinkedIn about the importance of accounts receivable and the benefits of CIC education. My leadership in these areas has provided valuable guidance to my peers and the broader business community.

Holding the Certified Credit Professional (CCP) designation, I am committed to continuous learning and upholding high standards in the credit profession. My dedication to professional development aligns with the goals of the Credit Institute of Canada.

My ability to mentor and inspire others in the field is a testament to my leadership and dedication. My collaborative approach and ability to build strong, effective teams make me an ideal candidate for the National Director role.

Beginning her career in the financial industry and transitioning into business to business credit, her mentor exposed her to the benefits of the Credit Institute of Canada. Currently, as the Director of Credit Risk Management at Compugen Inc., I have been pivotal in developing and implementing robust credit policies, strategic development and risk mitigation.

My career is marked by my exceptional ability to manage credit and collection functions, ensuring financial stability for the organizations I have served. My expertise in analyzing financials and credit reports has enabled me to make informed decisions that drive growth and stability. Additionally, I has built strong relationships with sales teams, enhancing collaboration and achieving common financial goals.

Beyond my professional responsibilities, Kimberly is an active contributor to the credit community. By writing insightful articles on LinkedIn, emphasizing the importance of accounts receivable to businesses and the advantages of obtaining education with the Credit Institute of Canada (CIC).
