Position Statement 

The credit institute has been a guiding light for many of us, providing invaluable resources, education, support and connection to credit professionals across the country. I believe that serving as your National Director for BC presents a unique opportunity to further this mission and to make a meaningful impact. First and foremost, I want to serve because I am passionate about empowering our members and helping and supporting other women in the industry. I recognize the challenges we face in an ever-evolving financial landscape. By fostering a culture of community, continuous learning and Innovation. We can equip ourselves with the tools necessary to navigate these changes effectively. I am committed to advocating for the credit profession at both the national and local levels. Collaboration and community are at the heart of what we do. I envision a Credit institute that is a vibrant hub for networking, sharing best practices and supporting one another. Together we can create a stronger, more connected community of credit professionals who uplift each other and drive our industry forward. Lastly, I believe in the power of integrity and ethical practices. As your National Director. I will uphold the highest professional standards of professionalism and ethical conduct, ensuring that our institute remains a trusted authority in the field of credit management.

 

Biography 

Bhavna Ketchen; CCP, CICP was born and raised in the UK and fell into Accounts receivable management while a student at university, like many that was the beginning of a passion that led to a path in consumer and commercial credit risk management. This passion for working in all aspects of the credit industry has evolved over the last 25 years as she moved from England to Canada, from the east to the west coast, which is now home.
