Amanda Slusarczyk, CCP

Region: Ontario

Position Statement

Why I want to serve on the National Board?

My name is Amanda Slusarczyk and I have been volunteering with the CIC sine 2018 when I first joined the Hamilton Chapter Board of Directors as the Student Coordinator which I did for several years before moving on to be the Chapter Vice-President as well as a short term as the Chapter President and Now Past President of the Hamilton Chapter. I have enjoyed getting to know our Hamilton Chapter members and have also had the privilege of getting to know other Chapters by being involved in the Board or Directors for the last several years! I love being a part of the community and helping to offer advise or guidance to help others succeed in obtaining their designations! While there are challenges that come along with being on a Board and working full time and having a person life I have found the years I have been volunteering to be very rewarding and satisfying to me.

I would like to join the National Board of Directors to contribute to the bigger picture and help the CIC to be a success for years to come. I think that my experience on the Hamilton Board will help me to be a valuable asset to the National Board and to all membership holders. I feel that I would bring a fresh perspective and would look forward to coming up with new ideas to help the National Board as well as the individual Ontario Chapters as well to grow and continue to offer excellent value to all our members.

Biography

My name is Amanda Slusarczyk and I have been working in the Credit Field now for over 21 years and completed and received my CCP designation back in May 2017. I am very passionate about Credit and helping customers and my company to work along with one another to grow their business to their full potential and offer advice or guidance when required to help limit Bad Debt.

I have been working for the same company now for almost 22 years and they have been a great support in helping me to achieve my full potential as I originally started as a receptionist and moved into other departments before landing in Credit.

I am a very open, honest and caring individual which I feel helps me to succeed in both my professional and personal goals. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family in my spare time and I am a big outdoors lover but mostly in the warmer weather, you can find me outside in the sun with a good True Crime Book and my dog Nickels or enjoying some form of outdoor activity with my husband and family and friends.
