Position Statement 

My career as a CCP has been very fulfilling and rewarding.  I have spent over 20 years in senior credit manager roles safeguarding the largest company asset, strategizing growth initiatives and managing credit and collection staff for companies like, Sony Electronics, Maple Leaf Foods and Kraft/Mondelez.  I have first-hand experience as a Chairperson of a board of directors as well as serving the past 2 years as National Director, Ontario Region for the CIC.  As National Director I have gained invaluable experience and supported the directives and decisions on the Governance, Education and Marketing committees.

It would be a great honour and privilege to continue to serve as the National Director, Ontario Region for the CIC, to serve our membership and students and continue to help elevate our profession and keep the role of the Credit professional at the core of each business and encourage our membership/students to stive for excellence.

Biography 

Lina Chindamo is currently Director, Enterprise Accounts at Creditsafe Canada, and a Certified Credit Professional (CCP) with over 25 years of experience in credit risk management. She has held senior leadership roles with leading companies in multiple industries in the Canadian market such as Sony Electronics, Maple Leaf Foods, and Mondelez Canada. More recently Lina used her experience and knowledge in credit risk management to take on more consultative roles with Dun & Bradstreet, Ansonia Credit Data and now Creditsafe. She has held the position of Chairperson with the National Credit and Financial Executive Forum and continues to serve on the board. 

She has served as a National Director for the Ontario Region of the Credit Institute of Canada for the past 2 years, both these organizations are focused on Education and Networking for credit professionals.

Her experience as a credit professional along with her current role as a consultant who works closely with c-suite partners and credit teams across all industries makes her a well-rounded credit professional who is well respected in our industry.
