Biography
I started my career in 1980’s in collections and thoroughly enjoyed attending group meetings and connecting with other employees who are in the same profession.
I figured out to get valuable knowledge, I need to do CCP, which on those days it was know as FCI.
I did this on my own and connected with the credit institution and university to have this courses available through the university. It took lot of perseverance and took few years in order for them to offer this through university. I only benefited this for my last year but was happy that it would be excellent for future students.
I graduated in 1990. Since then, I have served as VP Director and Social Director on the board with Hamilton chapter for 6 years.
Previous to that I have been member of credit advisory committee representing Equifax Food Group 1998-2000.
My working experience in various industries, from steel, food, Hospital, Accounting firm to manufacturing. Latest being in construction industry for over 7 years, has given me in depth knowledge of Credit and Collections and as a manager.
I enjoy socializing with people and helping for the growth of CIC and the new students.
