How can I get involved?

The CIC offers many opportunities for you to participate at your local chapter. You can attend events, volunteer, offer ideas for events and seminars, write an article, and join the board to earn professional development points. By getting involved, you can help shape the public view of Credit Professionals locally and nation wide with your ideas, constructive feedback, and networking.

  • Receive 25 PD points for attending events
  • Receive 20 and 30 PD points for serving on the Chapter Board and Chapter Executive respectively
  • Receive 20 PD points for serving as a guest speaker at a chapter function
  • Receive 15 PD points for serving as a Host/Hostess at a Chapter sponsored Social/Networking Event
  • Receive 20 PD points for attending a chapter AGM or 10 PD points for providing a proxy if unable to attend
