- Business meeting: by order of the Credit Institute of Canada Toronto Chapter Secretary, Adnan Moosa, CCP, ECCP, the Annual General Meeting (AGM) is being held for the following purposes:
- Special Guest Speaker: Dr. Gus Lazopoulos is a Toronto-based business educator, researcher, and entrepreneur. Dr. Lazopoulos is also the co-founder and CEO of Peresia Technologies Inc.
Dr. Gus Lazopoulos is a Toronto-based business educator, researcher, and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience across academia, industry, and technology ventures. He currently serves as a faculty member at International Business University, where he teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in international business, logistics, supply chain management, and strategic leadership. Known for his practical, student-centered approach, Dr. Lazopoulos integrates real-world industry insights with academic theory to prepare learners for today’s complex global business environment.
In addition to his academic work, Dr. Lazopoulos is the co-founder and CEO of Peresia Technologies Inc., an on-demand, location-based freelance marketplace platform focused on innovation and scalable digital solutions. His professional background also includes leadership roles in international trade consulting, global logistics, and construction project management, where he supported market entry strategies and operational development across North America, Europe, and other global regions.
Dr. Lazopoulos holds a Doctor of Business Administration and an MBA. He is a Certified International Trade Professional and CIFFA-certified freight forwarder, and his research focuses on startup financing, innovation, and economic development.
