Biography: 
Bryan is the Chief Economist at Central 1 Credit Union| Non-profit & Foundation Director| Public Speaker| Economic Commentator.

Through his engaging economics reports Bryan has become Central 1” s local celebrity, with his work featured by various media outlets including the Globe and Mail, BNN, Bloomberg and BC Business. He volunteers with various charitable and industry associations such as; Current VP/Member of Board of Directors, Canadian Association for Business Economics, Member of Board of Directors British Columbia Paraplegic, Committee Chair-Government Budget, and Finance. He has a passion for disseminating economic trends in easily digestible form that guides organizational strategy and directly impacts decision-making.
 
Through his engaging economics reports Bryan has become Central 1’s local celebrity, with his work featured by various media outlets including the Globe and Mail, BNN, Bloomberg and BC Business.
 
Bryan leads a team of economists conducting macro- and regional economic analysis at Central 1 and for the broader credit union system. He speaks regularly at credit union and industry events and is frequently contacted by media to provide national and provincial economic commentary. Within Central 1, he also sits on various risk and treasury committees.
 
Prior to Central 1, Bryan held roles at the BC Real Estate Association, CMHC, and conducted academic researcher in immigration economics. In his early years, he logged countless hours at his family restaurant. Bryan currently chairs the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade Budget and Finance Committee and serves on the boards of the B.C. Paraplegic Foundation and Canadian Association for Business Economics.
