2019 Elections for Regional Directors

The Credit Institute of Canada will be holding regional elections in April 2019

The board structure changed in 2017 when we held our very first Board Elections. In accordance with the CIC General By-laws, there will be eight (8) board positions available as follows:

  • Atlantic (1)
  • British Columbia (1)
  • Ontario (3)
  • Prairies (2)
  • Quebec (1)

Regional Elections will take place in mid-April. An official ‘Call for Nominations’ is scheduled for early January 2019. Take some time over the next few weeks to determine if you would like to put your name forward.

The National Board of Directors guide the direction of the Credit Institute by establishing a Strategic Plan and monitoring the progress of that plan. The Board meets on a quarterly basis; two meetings are in person in Toronto and two meetings are via conference call.

Please remember that only designated members in good standing - members who have renewed their 2018-19 memberships - are eligible to vote. Renew your membership for 2018-2019 if you have not done so yet.
